Bananarama - Cruel Summer and I Heard The Rumour

English female pop music group, originally formed as a trio in London in 1979 by Sara Dallin, Siobhab Fahey and Keren Woidward. London Records released their four albums including "Bananarama (1984)" featured one of their hit single "Cruel Summer" and "True Confessions (1986)" featured the Shocking Blue cover "Venus". Fahey left the group in 1988 and formed Shakespears Sister. She was replaced by Jacquie O'Sullivan. This line-up had UK top five hits with "I Want You Back" (1988) and a cover of The Beatles' "Help!" (1989). Dallin and Woodward continued Bananarama as a duo.
