Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Love Missile F1-11 and Success

British new wave band formed in London 1982 by former Generation X bassist Tony James. Their first gig was in Paris, supporting Johnny Thunders and Mick Jones of The Clash worked with them. Their first single "Love Missile F1-11" was produced by Giorgio Moroder and released on Parlophone  in 1986. Stock Aitken Waterman produced the single "Success" was released in 1988. The band split up in 1989 and  James joined The Sisters of Mercy. Chris Kavanagh went on to Mick Jones' Big Audio Dynamite ll.
