Formed in 1986, initially as a duo Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee. They signed to 53rd and 3rd label and recorded the "Son of a Gun EP", featuring a cover of Divine's "You Think You're a Man" in 1987. With Stephen Pastel producing, they recorded "Dying for It EP" in 1988. In 1989 they released their first album "Dum-Dum" on 53rd and 3rd Records. They briefly reformed in 1990 to open for Nirvana when they played in Edinburgh. Kelly went on to formed Captain America (later renamed Eugenius). McKee founded the bands Painkillers in 1994 and Suckle in 1997 before releasing her first solo album. Nirvana covered their songs "Son of a Gun" and "Molly's Lips".
