Mikado - Un Naufrage En Hiver & La Fille Du Soliel

French pop duo by Czerkinski and Pascale Borel, formed in 1982. The band was named after the game.  They released the debut single "Par Hasard" on Belgium Les Disques du Crépuscule in 1982. They met Hosono & Sakamoto of Yellow Magic Orchestra and then Hosono's Non-Standard label released
 their self-titled debut album (1986 / Vogue Records) in 1985. It was a success in Japan.  They started solo works after spliting in 1991. You should listen to the compilation "Forever" on Le Village Vert in 1998.

CzerkinskiとPascale Borelによって1982年に結成されたフレンチ・ポップ・デュオ。バンド名はゲームから名付けられました。デビュー・シングル"Par Hasard"はベルギーのLes Disques du Crépusculeから1982年にリリース。彼らはYellow Magic Orchestraの細野 & 坂本両氏と会い、細野氏のレーベルNon-Standardからセルフ・タイトルのデビュー・アルバム (1986 / Vogue Records)を1985年にリリース、日本で成功を収めました。1991年の解散後は各々にソロで活動を開始。 Le Village Vertが1998年にリリースしたコンピレーション・アルバム"Forever"も必聴です。
