China Crisis - Wishfull Thiking & Bigger the Punch I'm Feeling

English new wave and synth-pop band, formed in 1979 in Liverpool, Merseyside with a core of vocalist/keyboardist Gary Daly and guitarist Eddie Lundon. They were part of a wave of new Liverpool acts in the late 70's and early 80's, led by OMD and also including Echo and the Bunnymen, The Teardrop Explodes, A Flock of Seagulls and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The band were signed to Virgin Records and recorded their debut album "Difficult Shapes & Passive Rhythms, Some People Think It's Fun to Entertain" in 1982. The second album "Working with Fire and Steel"  was released in 1983 and the third album "Flaunt the Imperfection" was produced by Walter Becker of Steely Dan. In 1986 they collaborated with producers Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley (who worked with Madness) on "What Price Paradise" album.
Becker produced most of the album's tracks for 1989's "Diary of a Hollow Horse" album. "Warped by Success" was their last studio album, released in 1994. In 1999 drummer Kevin Wilkinson was died at the age of 41. He played with variety of bands including The Waterboys, The Proclaimers, Squeeze and Howard Jones.

Taxi Girl - Mannequin & Cherchez Le Garçon

French new wave band from Paris France. The group existed between 1978 and 1986, producing two full-length albums "Cherchez Le Garçon (1980)" and "Seppuku (1982)" on Mankin Records. Mirwais (guitar) was a producer for Madonna's record. Daniel Darc (singer) and Laurent Sinclair (keyboard) died in their 50s.

パリ出身のフレンチ・ニュー・ウエイブ・バンド。1978年から1986年までに活動し、"Cherchez Le Garcon (1980)" と "Seppuku (1982)" 二枚のアルバムをMankin Recordsからリリースしました。Mirwais (guitar) はMadonnaのレコードのプロデューサーでした。 Daniel Darc (シンガー)とLaurent Sinclair (キーボード) は50代で亡くなりました。

Les Objets - Personellement & La Saison Des Mouches

French duo by Jerome Rousseaux and Olivier Libaux. They released two albums "La Normalité"  in 1991 and "Qui Est Qui ? " in 1994, both on major label Columbia.  After Olivier joined Nouvelle Vague.

The Beautiful South - Old Red Eye is Back & We Are Each Other

English pop rock group formed in 1988 by Paul Heaton and Dave Hemingway, two former members of the Hull  group The Housemartins. They signed to Go! Discs Records and released  the albums "Welcome to The Beautiful South (1989)" , "Choke (1990)" and "0898 Beautiful South (1992)". In 1994. Jacqui Abbott joined the band as a vocalist and released the album "Miaow". Then they released six albums and split up in 2007. Heaton formed a new band "The Sound of Paul Heaton". In 2008 former Beautiful South members Dave Hemingway, Dave Stead and Alison Wheeler formed "The New Beautiful South", changed its name to "The South" in 2010.

The Dylans - Planet Love & Godlike

Formed in Shefield in 1990  by former The Page Boys and 1000 Violins singer Colin Gregory. They signed to Beggars Banquet Records'  Situation two and released their debut single "Godlike" , and released follow-up singles "Lemon Afternoon" and "Planet Love" before the band's Stephen Street-produced self-titled debut album (1991). Then they released the second album "Spirit Finger" on Beggars Banquet Records  in 1994.

シェフィールドにて1990年にThe Page Boysや1000 ViolinsのシンガーだったColin Gregoryによって結成。Beggars Banquet Recordsの Situation Twoと契約しデビュー・シングル"Godlike"を～Stephen Streetプロデュースのセルフ・タイトル・デビュー・アルバム(1991)発売前には"Lemon Afternoon"と"Planet Love"シングルをリリース。 セカンド・アルバム "Spirit Finger"はBeggars Banquet Recordsから1994年にリリースされました。

The Vicarage Garden - You That Is & More or Less

English indie pop duo, formed by Matthew Leake and Jason Kester. They released three singles "Oh Dawn" on Heaven Records in 1991, "Please Do It Again" on Cavalcade Records in 1997 and "I Feel Alright Today" on Harmony Label in 1997. The CD compilation “A Tribute to Felt” that was released by Elefant Records  in 1995. They  appears covering Felt’s “Sandman’s On the Rise Again”.

Matthew LeakeとJason Kesterによるイングランドのインディ・ポップ・デュオ。Heaven Recordsから1991年に"Oh Dawn"を、Cavalcade Recordsから1997年に"Please Do It Again"を、Harmony Labelから1997年に"I Feel Alright Today"三枚のシングルをリリースしました。コンピレーション“A Tribute to Felt” はElefant Recordsから1995年に発売され、彼らはFeltの “Sandman’s On the Rise Again”をカバーしました。

Frazier Chorus - Dream Kitchen & Living Rooms

Pop group from Brighton England. They signed to 4AD Records and released the single "Sloppy Heart" in 1987. They moved to Virgin Records and they released the debut album "Sue" in 1989.  Their second album "Ray" was remixed into indie-dance floorfillers by a number of top remixers, including Paul Oakenfold and Youth. Then they  released a third album "Wide Awake" and singer Tim's brother Jamie Freeman was in Frazier Chorus's touring band.

Les Innocents - Colore & Jodie

French rock and pop duet consisting of Jean-Philippe Nataf and Jean-Christophe Urbain from Lille, active from 1982 to 1999, reformed in 2013. They signed to Virgin Records and released the first album "Cent Metres au Paradis " in 1989. In 1992 they produced their second  album "Fous a Lier" which became their first major success. They released the third album "Post Partum" in 1995, "Colore" was one of the most aired singles of 1996. They released the  self-titled album in 1999 and split up in 2000. JP Nataf continued a solo career.

Jean-Philippe NatafとJean-Christophe UrbainによるLille出身のフレンチ・バンドで1982年から 1999年まで活動～2013年に再結成しました。Virgin Recordsと契約しファースト・アルバム"Cent Metres au Paradis "を1989年に発表。1992年にはセカンド・アルバム"Fous a Lier"をリリース、初の成功を収めました。サード・アルバム "Post Partum" を1995年にリリース、"Colore"は1996年に最もラジオプレイされたシングルの一つです。セルフ・タイトルのアルバムを1999年にリリースし2000年に解散。JP Natafはソロ・キャリアを続行しました。
