Jasmine Minks - Cold Heart & Think!

Formed in Aberdeen in 1983, consists of Jim Shepherd (guitar/vocals), Adam Sanderson (vocals/guitar), Martin Keena(bass guitar), and Tom Reid (drums/vocals). They signed to Creation Records and then released their first single "Think!". Their self-titled debut album was recorded in 1986. Dave Arnold from Kent band The Claim filled in the guitar spot for  "Another Age (1988)". They signed to McGee's Poptones label for the release "Popartglory" in 2001.

Yachines - I Believe & My Love is a Star

French pop unit led by Stephen Bienne and Olivier Albert Brion  (ex-Dorian Grey). The self-titled compilation album was released on Japanese Quince Records in 1988. Later Olivier formed Discover. He released the single "Jekyll & Hyde" as a solo project, on Potomac Records in 2020.

Stephen BienneとOlivier Albert Brion  (ex-Dorian Grey)によるフレンチ・ポップ・ユニット。セルフ・タイトルのコンピレーション・アルバムは日本のQuince Recordsより1988年にリリースされました。後にOlivierはDiscoverを結成。彼はソロとしてシングル "Jekyll & Hyde"をPotomac Recordsから2020年にリリースしました。

Tree Fort Angst - Found Out & Hope

Indie pop band that was originally a solo project of former St. Christopher guitarist Terry Banks.Then John Gotschalk (bass) and Hunter Duke (drums) joined the band. They released "Six Songs EP" on German A Turntable Friend Records in 1992. They released the albums "Knee Deep in the Rococo Excess of Tree Fort Angst (1997)" on Bus Stop label and "Last Page in the Book of Love (2002)" on Foxyboy. Banks later joined Glo-Worm, The Saturday People and Dot Dash.

Five Thirty - 13th Disciple & You

Three piece rock band from London England. Firstly Tara Milton (vocals, bass) and Nick Baker (vocals, guitar) formed Five Thirty in Oxford in 1983. They signed to Atco / East West Records in 1990 and released four singles and one album "Bed"  in 1991. The band disbanded in 1992. Bassett (vocals, guitars) re-emerged soon after the split with Orange Deluxe. Milton formed The Nubiles in 1995.

ロンドン出身のスリー・ピース・ロック・バンド。最初にTara Milton (ボーカル,  ベース) と Nick Baker (ボーカル, ギター) がFive Thirtyをオックスフォードで1983年に結成。彼らはAtco / East West Recordsと1990年に契約し四枚のシングルと初めて唯一のアルバム"Bed"を1991年にリリースしました。 1992年に解散しましたがBassett (ボーカル, ギター)は間も無くOrange Deluxeを～MiltonはThe Nubilesを1995年に結成。

Pacific - Shrift & Barnoon Hill

Electronic pop unit by Dennis Wheatly from UK. The compilation album "Inference" was released on Creation Records in 1990, after releasing two singles "Sea of Sand (1988)" and "Shrift (1990)" both on Creation Records too. They joined the Creation's compilation "Doing it for the kids". Their song "Barnoon Hill" was produced by John A. Rivers.

Dennis Wheatly氏によるUKのエレクトロニック・ポップ・ユニット。コンピレーション・アルバム"Inference"は、"Sea of Sand (1988)"と"Shrift (1990)"二枚のシングルの後にCreation Recordsから1990年にリリース。 Creationのコンピレーション・アルバム"Doing it for the kids"にも参加しました。彼らの曲"Barnoon Hill" はJohn A. Riversがプロデュースしました。

Elastica - Connection & Stutter

British rock band formed in London. In 1992 ex-Suede band members Justine Frischmann and Justin Welch decided to form a group. Later  Anne Holl and  Donna Matthews joined the band. They were influenced by punk rock, post-punk and new wave. The self-titled debut album was released on Deceptive in 1995, and entered the UK albums chart at No.1. Holland left the band and joined keyboardist David Bush (ex-The Fall). They released the second album "Menace" on Deceptive in 2000. After split up Welch played drums for Lush's 2015-16 reunion shows.

ロンドンで結成されたイギリスのロック・バンド。1992年に元SuedeのメンバーJustine FrischmannとJustin Welchがグループを結成しようと決意。その後Anne HollandとDonna Matthewsが加入しました。パンク・ロック、ポスト・パンク、ニュー・ウエイブに影響を受けています。セルフ・タイトルのデビュー・アルバムはDeceptiveから1995年にリリース、UKアルバム・チャートのナンバー・ワンとなりました。Hollandはバンドを去りDavid Bush (元The Fall)が加入。セカンド・アルバム"Menace"はDeceptiveから2000年に発売されました。解散後WelchはLushの2015～16年の再結成ライブにてドラムをプレイ。

Dubstar - Stars (Motive 8 remix) and Not so Manic Now

Formed in 1992 by Steve Hillier and Chris Wilkie in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Sarah Blackwood joined in 1993 as a vocalist. They signed to Camden-based label Food Records and released the debut album "Disgraceful (1995)" , which was produced by Stephen Hague, worked with Pet Shop Boys and New Order too.
Blackwood joined the band Technique (on Poptones Records) to replace Xan Tyler as a singer for a European tour with Depeche Mode in 2002. Shortly afterwards, Kate Holmes (ex-Frazier Chorus and Alan Mcgee's wife) of Technique and Blackwood decided to write together and formed the new group Client.

Steve HillierとChris WilkieによってNewcastle-Upon-Tyneで1992年に結成。Sarah Blackwoodはボーカリストとして1993年に加入しました。 カムデンを拠点としたレーベルFood Recordsと契約しデビュー・アルバム"Disgraceful (1995)" をリリース、Pet Shop BoysやNew Orderを手掛けたStephen Hagueがプロデュースしました。BlackwoodはXan Tylerに代わってPoptones RecordsのバンドTechniqueにボーカリストとして参加。TechniqueのKate Holmes (元Frazier ChorusでAlan Mcgeeの奥さん) とBlackwoodは、ニュー・バンドClientを結成し一緒に活動することを決意しました。

Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Kill Your Television & Happy

English rock band formed in West Midlands in 1987. They signed with Birmingham-based indie label Chapter 22 Records for their debut release "The Ingredients EP", followed by the single "Kill Your Television". They released the debut album "God Fodder" on Furtive in 1991. The two albums "Are You Normal? (1992)" and "Brainbloodvolume (1995)" was released both on Sony Soho Square during the 90's. They reformed in 2000 and performed  in London at The Astoria in 2008.
