English band that formed in London in 1981. The band comprises Boy George (lead vocals), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Mickey Craig (bass guitar) and Jon Moss (drums and percussion). The band's debut album "Kissing to Be Clever" was released on Virgin Records in 1982 and the follow-up single "Time" became another Top 10 hit in the US and UK. Their second album "Colour By Numbers (Virgin Records / 1983)" sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. The second single "Karma Chameleon" from this album gave the band their biggest hit. In 1984 Boy George was recruited by Bob Geldof to join the Band Aid recording and they released their third album "Waking Up with the House on Fire". This album contained the hit singles "The War Song" and "Mistake No. 3". The band broke up and George pursued a solo career. Roy Hay formed This Way Up and released the album "Feelin' Good About It" on Virgin Records in 1987.
