Post-Oasis British rock band of the mid-'90s consists of Steve Cradock, Simon Fowler, Damon Minchella and Oscar Harrison. Formed in the late 80's and had several hits during the Madchester movement in the early 90's including "Sway" and "Yesterday Today" both on !Phfft Records. Cradock played in a mod revival band called The Boys. The band didn't earn a large following until 1996 when their second album "Moseley Sholas (1996)". Paul Weller and Oasis'Noel Gallagher praised them. They played a gig supporting Paul Weller's new band in 1993 and the opening slot for Oasis'' breakthrough 1994 tour. The band signed with Major label MCA in 1995.
