Jane and Tom started out as a DJ in their hometown of Brunswick Lower Saxony. They moved to Hamburg in 2003 and run their own label Félicité to release 7" singles by Simon Fisher Turner a.k.a. The King of Luxembourg, Roy Moller and The Catalysts. They released as The Happy Couple the debut ep "The Four Seasons ep" on Félicité in 2003 and the 2nd ep "Fools In Love" featuring Roy Moller as special guest musician, on the US label Matinée Recordings. Then the single "Song For The Troubadour" followed and featured Belle & Sebastian's Stevie Jackson on harmonica. In 2006 Japanese label Quince Records released their single compilation "Happy Times & Petty Crimes". In 2014 they came back with the debut album "Into The Woods”.
