Pigbag - Papa's Got a Brand New Pigbag

 

British post punk band, active from 1980 to 1983. Simon Underwood, previously of The Pop Group  joined the band , along with his old friend and tenor sax player Ollie Moore. 

Their first single ""Papa's Got a Brand New Pigbag", was released in 1981 on Y Records. 

Their first album "Dr. Heckle & Mr Jive" was released in 1982..In the early 90's Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Allstarz covered this song as the sigle "Reach Up (1994)".

1980年から1983年まで活動していたイギリスのポスト・パンク・バンド。以前はThe Pop GroupだったSimon Underwoodが、旧友でテナーサックス奏者のOllieMooreとともにバンドに参加しました。 彼らの最初のシングル"Papa'sGota Brand New Pigbag"は1981年にY Recordsからリリースされました。 彼らのファースト・アルバム"Dr.Heckle＆Mr Jive"は1982年にリリース。90年代初頭Paul OakenfoldのPerfecto Allstarzがこの曲をシングル"ReachUp（1994）"としてカバーしました。
