Basé à Melbourne en Australie, The Stroppies est à l'origine le projet DIY de Claudia Serfaty et Angus Lord. Rejoint par Adam Hewitt, Steph Hughes et Rory Heane, le duo s'est désormais transformé en groupe. The Stroppies ont sorti en 2017 leur premier mini album éponyme puis un second album intitulé "Whoosh !" en 2019 sur le label londonien Tough Love Records. Ce dernier publiera leur troisième album, "Look alive !" le mois prochain. Avec toujours ce son jangle pop rappelant les premières heures de Flying Nun.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, The Stroppies was firstly the DIY home recording project of Angus Lord and Claudia Serfaty. Joined by Adam Hewitt, Steph Hughes and Rory Heane, the band has now evolved into what some might call a "proper band". The Stroppies already released two albums : one self-titled one in 2017 and the second one, Whoosh !", via London label Tough Love Records in 2019. The third album "Look alive !" will be out next month. Jangle pop for fans of early Flying Nun bands !
