American rock band formed in Boston in 1976, consists of Ric Ocasek, Benjamin Orr, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes and David Robinson. They have six studio albums including "Heartbeat City (1984)" and "Door to Door (1987)". After they disbanded in 1988 Ric and Benjamin continued to work as solo. Ric passed away in 2019.
