Virginia Astley - Love's a Lonely Place to Be and Darkness Has Reached It's End

English singer-songwriter. Her sister Karen married Pete Townshend of The Who in 1968. She contributed to the Les disques du Crépuscule compilation "The Fruit of the Original Sin". She formed The Ravishing Beauties with Nicky Holland and Kate St. John (The Dream Academy). She recorded her solo album "She Stood Up and Cried" on Crépuscule in 1982. Her single "Some Small Hope" was released in 1987, a collaboration with David Sylvian.
