American female singer-songwriter. A&M Records released her albums including "Suzanne Vega (1985)", "Solitude Standing (1987)" and "Nine Objects of Desire (1996)". Her song "Left of Center" is featured for the soundtrack of John Hughes film "Pretty in Pink (1986)". The acappella-song "Tom's Diner" became a hit in 1990, remixed by the British dance-producer under the name DNA.
