The Loft - Why Does the Rain

Formed in 1980 as The Living Room, led by Petter Astor, Bill Prince, Andy Stickland and Dave Morgan. There was the venue which was called The Living Room. It was run by Alan McGee. After signing to McGee's Creation Records, the debut single "Why Does the Rain?" was released in 1984. After they split Astor and Morgan formed The Weather Prophets. Strickland became a music journalist and formed The Caretaker Race and Prince formed The Wishing Stones.

1980年にThe Living RoomとしてPetter Astor, Bill Prince, Andy Stickland, Dave Morganによって結成。The Living Roomというライブハウスがあって、それはAlan McGeeによって運営されていました。 McGeeのCreation Recordsと契約後はデビュー・シングル"Why Does the Rain?"を1984年にリリース。 解散後AstorとMorganは The Weather Prophetsを結成しました。Stricklandは音楽ジャーナリストとなりThe Caretaker Raceを～PrinceはThe Wishing Stonesを結成しました。
