British indie pop band formed in 2003 in Brighton, led by the guitarist Robert Barry. Gwenno, Rosay and Becki... three frontwomen wear polka dot dresses. They signed to Memphis Industries after touring with The Go! Team. The Debut album "We are the Pipettes" was released in 2006. Rose left the band and started a solo career. The band consists of Gwenno and her sister Ani and they released the second album "Earth v.s. The Pipettes" on Fortuna Pop Records in 2010. Gwenno released the album "Y Dydd Olaf" on Heavenly Recordings in 2015.
