She recorded her first single "La Magie des surprises-parties" in 1983 although not a hit, She became internationally famous "Joe Le Taxi" including her first album "M & J" in 1987 when she was 14. It was number one in France for 11 weeks. In 1991 she promoted the fragrance Coco Chanel. In 1992 she moved to the US and she released the album "Vanessa Parsdis", sing in English, written and produced by Lenny Kravitz.
In 1994 she filmed "Elisa", it was a big success in France. During the 2000's she released four albums, including "Divine Idylee (2007)" produced by Alain Chamfort and "Love Songs (2013)" produced by Benjamin Biolay.
