April March - Laisse Tomber Les Filles

Elinor Blake is an American singer songwriter  who sings in English and French. She formed The Shitbirds in 1995. Since then March has recorded as a solo artist and released the albums "Gainsbourgsion (Euro Visions / 1995)" , "Paris in April (Sympathy for the Record / 1996)" and "Superbanyair (L'appareil Photo / 1996)".  Her musical style is heavily influenced by French 60's pop music.  She traveled to France to record the album "Chrominance Decoder" with Bertrand Burgalat's label Tricatel. She performed an English translation of the Serge Gainsbourg song, "Laisse Tomber Les Filles", renamed as "Chick Habit.".
