The Jam - Town Called Malice, Going Underground and David Watts

English mod / punk rock revival band during the 70's and early 80's, formed in Surrey, England, consists of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler. They signed to Polydor Records and had six studio albums "This is The Modern World (1977)", "In the City (1977)", "All Mod Cons (1978)", "Setting Sons (1979)", "Sound Affects (1980)" and the last of which "The Gift" was number one on the UK Albums Chart. After splitting Weller went on to form The Style Council and later had a solo career. 

70年代から80年代始めの間のイギリスのモッド / パンク・ロック・バンドでPaul Weller, Bruce Foxton, Rick Bucklerによって構成。彼らはPolydor Recordsと契約し六枚のアルバム"This is The Modern World (1977)", "In the City (1977)", "All Mod Cons (1978)", "Setting Sons (1979)", "Sound Affects (1980)"そしてラストの "The Gift"はUKアルバム・チャートでナンバーワンになりました。解散後WellerはThe Style Councilを結成～後にソロへ転向。
