Orchestral Manouvers In The Dark - Enola Gay, So in Love, If You Leave and Souvenir

English electronic pop band formed in Merseyside in 1978, consists of Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Stuart Kershaw and Martin Cooper.  They released the singles "Electricity (on Factory Records)" produced by Martin Hannet  in 1979 and the anti-war song "Enola Gay" in 1980. They have thirteen studio albums including "Crush (1985)" & "The Pacific Age (1986)" both on Virgin Records and produced by Stephen Hague. Their single "So in Love (Virgin / 1985)" was a duet with the French pop singer Etienne Daho. Later in 1985 the band was asked to write a song for the John Hughes film Pretty In Pink so they wrote "If You Leave".
