British pop band, originally formed in 1977 in Leeds England by Welsh singer-songwriter Green Gartside. The group's most successful album was the 1985's "Cupid & Psyche 85". Then they released the album "Provision" in 1986. They collaborated with reggae artists and hit the UK charts again in 1991 with their cover of The Beatles' cover song "She's a Woman" which featured guest vocals from Shabba Ranks. The single "Take Me in Your Arms And Love Me"' was a cover of the Gladys Knight  song, featuring guest vocals from Sweetie Irie.
