Aberdeen était un groupe indie pop américain formé à Los Angeles au début des années 90 par John Girgus (guitare et programmation) et Beth Arzy (chant et basse). Entre 1994 et 2004, le groupe a sorti deux singles sur Sarah Records, un sur Sunday Records, un autre sur The State of Aberdeen, et deux sur The Tremolo Arms Users Club. C'est ce label qui sort en 2002 leur unique album, "Homesick and happy to be here". On retrouve aussi Aberdeen sur diverses compilations dont "What do I wish for now ? (singles et extras 1994-2004)" publiée en 2006 par LTM Recordings.
