The Bluebells - Young at Heart, Cath & Forevermore

Scottish indie rock band formed in 1981, consists of David and Kenneth McCluskey, Craig Gannon (Aztec Camera and The Smiths), Laurence Donegan, Robert Hodgens, Gary Crowley and Russell Irvine. They released the debut album "Sisters (1984)" on London Records and the second album "Second (1992)" on Vinyl Japan Records. The band split up in the mid 80's, but their song "Young at Heart" was used in a Volkswagen TV advertisement and re-issued. Later David and Ken formed The McCluskey Brothers and released three albums. David also joined Jim Beattie's (ex-Spirea X) Adventures in Stereo.

1981年にDavid & Kenneth McCluskey兄弟、Craig Gannon (Aztec Camera and The Smiths), Laurence Donegan, Robert Hodgens, Gary Crowley, Russell Irvineによって結成されたスコティッシュ・インディ・ロック・バンド。デビュー・アルバム"Sisters (1984)" はLondon Recordsから～ セカンド・アルバム"Second (1992)" はVinyl Japan Recordsから発売。80年代半ばに解散しましたが、 "Young at Heart"がフォルクスワーゲンのTVコマーシャルに使われリイシューされました。後にDavidとKen兄弟は The McCluskey Brothersを結成し三枚のアルバムをリリース。DavidはまたJim Beattie's (ex- Spirea X)のAdventures in Stereoに参加しました。
