The Ocean Blue - Vanity Fair & Ticket to Wyoming

American indie pop group formed in Pennsylvania in 1986. Original members were David Schelzel on lead vocals/guitar, Steve Lau on keyboards/saxophone, Bobby Mittan on bass guitar and Rob Minnig on drums who joined The Inoccence Mission in 1987. They signed to Sire Records and released three albums "The Ocean Blue (1988)", "Cerulean (1991)" and "Beneath the Rhythm and Sound (1993)". Schelzel did some holiday music with Don Peris from The Innocence Mission, and also members  collaborated with other acts such as The Orange Peels. In 2013, they released "Ultramarine" on Korda Records, their first full-length record in over ten years. Later they were back once again in 2019 with a new album "Kings and Queens / Knaves and Thieves".
