Postal Blue - What where you meant to be & Rainy day & I always knew

C'est au Brésil que Postal Blue a été fondé en 1998 par Adriano Do Couto Ribeiro, André Costa, Francinalto Lacerda et Ismael Braz. Le groupe sort une première cassette qui reçoit l'attention de Drive-In Records. Le label américain publie donc en 1999 le premier EP du groupe qui signe ensuite sur un autre label américain, Shelflife Records, pour un second EP, "Weather sensitive" en 2002, et son premier album, "International breeze", en 2004. Le troisième EP du groupe, "Road to happiness", sort sur le label canadien Humblebee Recordings en 2006. C'est en 2008 que trois membres fondateurs quittent Postal Blue qui n'est plus représenté que par Adriano Do Couto Ribeiro. Celui-ci sort un EP intitulé "Eponymous" sur Cloudberry Records cette même année puis un split EP avec un autre groupe brésilien, Pale Sunday, en 2013, co-édité par Dufflecoat Records et Jigsaw Records. C'est ce dernier qui publie en 2015 le second album de Postal Blue, "Of love and other affections".

Then, they signed to another american label, Shelflife Records, who released their second EP, "Weather sensitive", in 2002 and their first album, "International Breeze", in 2004. The third EP from Postal Blue, "Road to happiness", is out in 2006 through canadian label Humblebee Recordings. In 2008, André Costa, Francinalto Lacerda and Ismael Braz left the band. Singer and songwriter Adriano Do Couto Ribeiro decided to carry on as Postal Blue and released a new EP, titled "Eponymous", via Cloudberry Records. In 2013, Dufflecoat Records and Jigsaw Records published a split EP with Postal Blue and another brasilian band, Pale Sunday. The second album, "Of love and other affections", was out in 2015 via the american label Jigsaw Records.
