Indie pop band from Vasa, Finland formed in 2001, consists of Mattias Björkas (lead vocals, guitar), Ville Hopponen (electric guitar, backing vocals / Le Futur Pompiste), Kenneth Höglund (bass), Iiris Viljanen (keyboards, backing vocals) and Yrjö Ylijoki (drums). Later, Henry Ojala (drums ) joined Burning Hearts. The band's first release was a four-track vinyl-only "Solid Work" on Elva Records in 2003 and "Drawing in the Reins EP" was released on Sweden's Fraction Discs two years later. Then they signed to Germany's Marsh-Marigold Records and released the debut full-length "The Province Complains" in 2007. American indie Matinée Recordings released two albums "Our Temperance Moment" in 2009 and "All Blackshirts to Me" in 2012. You should listen to the compilation "Dealing in Antiques" on Johanna Kustannus label in 2010.
