The Jazz Butcher - Nothing Special, She's on Drugs and Girlfriend

Formed in Oxford in 1982 by Pat Fish and Max Eider. The debut album "In Bath of Bacon" was released on Glass Records in 1983. The second album "A Scandal in Bohemia" also on Glass, featured guest appearances from David J and Kevin Haskins from Bauhaus, then released two albums "Sex and Travel (1985)" and "Distressed Gentlefolk(1986)", both on Glass Records, too. From 1987 to 1988 they changed the line-up, consists of Pat Fish, Kizzy O'Callaghan, Laurence O'Keefe, Alex Green and Paul Mulreany then signed to Creation Records in 1988, releasing eight albums on this label. Japanese Vinyl Japan released the album "Rotten Soul (2000)" and also organized their gigs in Japan. Max released the solo albums  "The Best Kisser in the World (1987)" on Big Time Records and "Hotel Figueroa (2001)" on Vinyl Japan. In 1996 they re-formed for a series of live shows by Pat Fish, Max Eider and Owen Jones. Max established his own label Tundraduck Records and released three albums as a solo artist during the 2000-2010's.

オックスフォードにて1982年にPat FishとMax Eiderによって結成。デビュー・アルバム"In Bath of Bacon"はGlass Recordsから1983年にリリースされ、セカンド・アルバム "A Scandal in Bohremia" もまたGlassからで、BauhausのDavid JとKevin Haskinsが参加しました。その後、二枚のアルバム"Sex and Travel (1985)"と"Distressed Gentlefolk(1986)"もGlass Recordsから。1987年から1988年にかけてはPat Fish, Kizzy O'Callaghan, Laurence O'Keefe, Alex Green, Paul MulreanyといったラインナップとなりCreation Recordsと1988年に契約、八枚のアルバムをリリース。日本のVinyl Japanは"Rotten Soul (2000)" アルバムをリリースし日本でのギグもオーガナイズしました。Maxはソロ・アルバム "The Best Kisser in the World (1987)"を Big Time Recordsから～"Hotel Figueroa (2001)"を Vinyl Japanから発売。1996年にはPat Fish, Max Eider, Owen Jonesメンバーによって、ライブ・ショウのため再結成されました。Maxは彼自身のレーベルTundraduck Recordsを立ち上げ、ソロとして三枚のアルバムを2000-2010年代にリリース。
