The Go-Betweens - Streets of Your Town, Right Here & Love Goes On

Formed in Brisbane Australia in 1977 by Robert Forster and Grant McLennan. In 1988 "Streets of Your Town", the first single from the album "16 Lovers Lane (Mushroom Records / 1988)", became the biggest chart hit in both Australia and the UK. They released nine studio albums, including "Before Hollywood (Rough Trade / 1983)", "Spring Hill Fair (Sire Records / 1984)" and "Tallulah (1987)". Forster began his solo music career from 1990. Forster and McLennan reformed the band in 2000 with a new line-up but McLennan died in 2006 of a heart attack and they disbanded again.
