English indie rock band of Lawrence (formerly of Felt), based in Birmingham England. He debuted in 1992 with the album "Back in Denim", including the single "Middle of the Road" on Boy's Own Records, followed "Denim on Ice" album on Echo Records in 1996, the band went on their first tour supporting Pulp on their stadium tour. Denim's final release was "Novelty Rock", the compilation of B-sides and some new material, released in 1997. Then he formed Go-Kart Mozart.
