The Merton Parkas - Plastic Smile and Face in the Crowd

Mod revival band formed in South London in the mid-70"s, led by Danny Talbot, his brother Mick Talbot, Neil Hurrell and Simon Smith. They released one album "Face in the Crowd" on Beggars Banquet in 1979. After they disbanded in 1980, Mick went on to play with Dexys Midnight Runners and The Style Council.  Simon joined Mood Six.
