Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me), Alive and Kicking and Belfast Child

Scottish rock band led by Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill, formed in Glasgow in 1977. Their single  "Don't You (Forget About Me)" from the soundtrack of the film Jogn Hughes's "The Breakfast Club" became the hit internationally in 1985. Their first album "Liife in a Day" was produced by John Leckie, released on  Arista in 1979. Their album "Sparkle in the Rain (on Virgin Records)" was produced by Steve Lillywhite and released in 1984. In 1984 Jim Kerr married Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. Their album "Street Fighting Years (Virgin Records / 1989)" was produced by Trevor Horn.
