American latin-influenced band featuring the vocals of Cuban-born artist Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan Jr., formed in 1975. In 1977 the group recorded their first album for a local label Audiofon Records and Emilio got married with Gloria. The 1984's single "Dr. Beat" became a disco smash hit and signed to major CBS label Epic. They released twelve albums including "Primitive Love (1985)" and "Let it Loose (1987)". One of the most successful Latin American bands to crossover into the English-language.
