English singer-songwriter and musician, formerly Q-Tips. In 1983 his debut album "No Parlez (CBS)" became the UK number-one. He covered "Everytime You Go Away" from the 1980 Hall & Oates album "Voices", topped the pop charts in the U.S. His second album "The Secrets of Association (CBS / 1985)" was featured cover song of Ann Peeble's "I'm Gonna Tear Playhouse Down".
