The Human League - Don't You Want Me, Lebanon and Human

English synth-pop band formed in Shefield in 1977, consists of Philip Oakey, Martyn Ware and Ian Craig, but both left the band in 1980 to form Heaven 17. Then female vocalists Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley joined the band. They signed to Virgin Records and their third album "Dare (1981)" became a commercial success. This album contained the UK/US number one hit "Don't You Want Me". They have nine studio albums including "Hysteria (1984)" and  "Crash (1986)". "They are regarded as one of the artists of the 80's second British Invasion of the US.
