Madness - One Step Beyond, Our House, Sweetest Girl and (Waiting For) Ghost Train

English ska band from Camden Town London, formed in 1976 led by the frontman Suggs. They are one of the most prominent bands of the late 70's and early 80's two-tone ska revival. 2 Tone Records, the label of The Specials founder Jerry Dammers released their sibgle "The Prince" in 1979. Their debut album "One Step Beyond..." was released on Stiff Records in 1979. In 1980 the band's second album "Absolutely" reached number two in the UK albums Chart. In 1982 they released the first compilation album "Complete Madness" and the fourth album "The Rise & Fall" including their most successful single "Our House" and produced by Clive Langer, both on Stiff Records. In 1986 the band split up and released the farewell single "(Waiting For) Ghost Train". The singles compilation album "Divine Madness (Virgin / 1992)" was released and peaked at number one in the album charts. Suggs debuted with the solo album "The Lone Ranger" in 1995. In 1999 Madness released their first studio album since 1986, entitled "Wonderful".
