XTC - Mayor of Simpleton, Making Plans for Nigel and King for a Day

English rock band formed in Swindon  in 1972. Fronted by songwriters Andy Partridge and Coli Moulding. They signed to Virgin Records and released twelve original albums between 1977 and 1992, including "White Music (1978)" produced by John Leckie, "Drums and Wires (1979)" & "Black Sea (1980)" both produced by Steve Lillywhite, "Skylarking (1986)" produced by Todd Rundren and "Orange & Lemons (1989)". Partridge produced the Martin Newell's 1993 album "The Greatest Living Englishman".
