Simply Red - Money's Too Tight (to Mention), Holding Back the Years, Stars and If You Don't Know Me By Now

British soul/pop band, formed in Manchester in 1985 by singer-songwriter Mick Hucknall. Bowers (bass) and Joyce (drums) were both members of Drutti Column. They released the debut album "The Picture Book" on Elektra Records  in 1985. They covered "Money's Too Tight (to Mention)" of The Valentine Brothers. They released twelve albums including "Men and Women (1987)", "A New Flame (1989)" and "Stars (1991)".Their latest album is "Blue Eyed Soul" in 2019.
