Spandau Ballet - Communication, Only when You Leave and True

English pop band formed in Islington London in 1979, consists of Gary Kemp, his brother Martin Kemp, Tony Hadley, Steve Noeman and John Keeble. One of the leaders of the "new romantic" movement. The band released their third album "True" on Chrysalis Records in 1983. The singles “Gold” and “Communication” from this album ranked in the US Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up album "Parade" on Chrysalis Records was released in 1984, the singles were again big successes in the charts and the band performed on the Band Aid charity single. After splitting Tony recorded his first solo album in Los Angeles. 

ロンドンIslingtonで1979年にGary Kemp, 彼の兄弟Martin Kemp, Tony Hadley, Steve Noeman,  John Keebleによって結成されたイギリスのポップ・バンド。ニュー・ロマンティック・ムーブメントにおける中心バンドの一つでした。彼らはサード・アルバム"True"をChrysalis Recordsから1983年にリリース、アルバムからのシングル“Gold”と“Communication”はUSビルボード・ホット100にランクイン。続くアルバム"Parade" はChrysalis Recordsから1984年に発表されチャートで大きな成功を得て、バンドはBand Aidに参加しチャリティー・シングルをレコーディングしました。解散後Tonyはソロ・アルバムをロサンジェルスでレコーディング。
