The Chesterfields - Ask Johnny Dee & Alison Wait

Formed in 1984 in Somerset, UK. Firstly they signed to The Subway Organization and released the debut album "Kettle" in 1987 and then released "Crocodile Tears" on Household Records in 1988. Allen left the band to join The Blue Aeroplanes, replaced by Andy Strickland of The Loft / The Caretaker Race. Then they split up in 1989 but reunited 2016. You should listen to the compilation "Electric Guitars in the Hearts - the Best of" out on Cherry Red Records in 2006.

イギリスのSomersetにて1984年に結成、最初はSubway Organizationと契約しデビュー・アルバム "Kettle" を1987年に発表、その後アルバム "Crocodile Tears" をHousehold Recordsから1988年にリリースしました。 AllenはThe Blue Aeroplanesへ行くためバンドを去り、代わってAndy Strickland (The Loft / The Caretaker Race)が加入。1989年に解散しましたが2016ねんに再結成しました。Cherry Red Recordsからのベスト盤"Electric Guitars in the Hearts - the Best of (2006)" も聴くべきです。
