Scottish indie pop band founded by Roddy Frame, formed in 1981. Firstly two 7 inches singles "Mattress of Wire" & "Just Like Gold" were released on Postcard Records. Then the great debut album "High Land Hard Rain" was released on Rough Trade Records in 1983.
