English jangle pop / new wave band formed in Liverpool in 1981, composed of brother of Mick & John Head, Chris McCaffery, Thomas Whelan and former Dislocation Dance trumpeter Andy Diagram. They released the debut single "(There's Always) Something on My Mind" on Belgium label Les Disques du Crépuscule before signing a major label deal in 1982. Then they signed to Virgin Records and released "Pacific Street (1984)" and "...From across the Kitchen Table (1985)", produced by Ian Broudie (The Lightning Seeds). The band split up in 1987 and Mick went on to form Shack with his brother John. Andy left the band in 1984 and later joined James.
