Japanese indie band formed in 1990, Shibuya-Kei music and Madchester movement era, consists of Shuntaro Okino (vocals, guitar, ex-Velludo, with Keigo Oyamada Flipper's Guitar), Yasushi Donaka (guitar), Yutaka Koga (bass, a founder of K.O.G.A. Records), Masato Ishida (guitar, ex-Penny Arcade and Daffodil 19) and Takanobu Komatsu (drums). They supported gigs for Velvet Crush and John Cunningham, etc. and joined DJ and bands style parties like "Remix Night (organized by Remix magazine)" and "Brand New Skip", etc. in the 90's. They signed to UK Project / Wonder Release Records and released the debut album "Lovemarine" in 1991 and two albums "Space Driver (1992)" and "Big "Sad" Table (1993)" on Trattoria / Polystar Records. They also joined the "Tribute To Galaxie 500" 7" on Spanish Elefant Records in 1996. The band re-formed in 2005 and released the album "Crystalized" in 2006. In early-00's Okino formed Indian Rope as a solo-project. The latest single "Heartbeat" was released on K.O.G.A. Records in 2019.
