C'est à l'été 2007 que Northern Portrait s'est formé à Copenhague, Danemark. Le groupe constitué par Stefan Larsen (chant, guitare), Michael Sørensen (batterie), Jesper Bonde (guitare) et Caspar Bock Sørensen (basse), a immédiatement été repéré et signé par le label américain Matinée Recordings. Celui-ci a publié tous les disques de Northern Portrait à savoir : un album ("Criminal art lovers" en 2010), quatre singles ("The fallen aristocracy" and "Napoleon sweetheart" en 2008, "Life returns to normal" en 2010, "Happy nice day" en 2013) et une compilation ("Ta !" en 2013). Une discographie sans faute pour une pop sophistiquée et élégante !
Northern Portrait formed in the summer of 2007 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The band is Stefan Larsen (vocals, guitar), Michael Sørensen (drums), Jesper Bonde (guitar) and Caspar Bock Sørensen (bass). They immediately signed to the american label Matinée Recordings who released all their records : one album ("Criminal art lovers" in 2010), four singles ("The fallen aristocracy" and "Napoleon sweetheart" in 2008, "Life returns to normal" in 2010, "Happy nice day" in 2013) and one compilation ("Ta !" in 2013). We love their sophisticated and elegant pop music !
